Under the museum’s impressive glass roof appears a unique journey around Mr. Pierre Cardin’s designs : “the work of a lifetime”.

Pierre Cardin inaugurated the Past-Present-Future Museum in person in November 2014. Situated 5 rue Saint Merri, visitors can admire his passion for couture, accessories, jewellery and design.

Mrs. Renée Taponier, the Museum’s curator and loyal collaborator of Pierre Cardin for more than 50 years, will introduce you to the unique and singular world of the fashion designer, through the history of more than 250 Haute Couture designs from 1950 to 2000. She will tell you about the different fabrics, materials, and techniques used by the couturier, and she share with you many insider’s anecdotes.

The museum hosts a permanent collection regularly enriched by new pieces chosen among the 4000 pieces kept in the archives of the house.
